2012 packet pickup and expo will be in Pier Village at Festival Plaza (on the lawn in front of Sneaker Factory) on Saturday, July 28th from 10 AM to 6PM. There will also be packet pickup at Sneaker Factory in Basking Ridge on Thursday, Jul 26th from 4 to 7PM and at Cycles 54 in Wall Township, NJ on Friday, July 27th from 4 to PM. EVERYONE MUST PICK UP THEIR OWN PACKET, NO EXCEPTIONS. THERE IS NO RACE DAY PICKUP.

Directions to start (use 1 Madison Avenue, Long Branch NJ for GPS). Some free street parking in area, several parking lots in the area at the Ocean Place Hotel and in and around Pier Village. Parking guide available.

Spacious, secure transition area.

Ocean Swim (300 yards) (usually very calm in August). 2012 swim wave start schedule. Swim Angels will be in the water with you. Swim will be up one side of a floating line and down the other side, lined with buoys. 20 lifeguards will be in the water. PLEASE NOTE: TRANSITION CLOSES TO ALL ATHLETES BEFORE THE START OF THE FIRST WAVE!

Bike will be a 10.5 mile tour of Long Branch NJ. More than 30 police officers at key intersections as well as over 30 volunteers on bike course alone. Helmets mandatory. All types of bikes welcome -- road bikes, hybrid bikes, mountain bikes. Roads are not closed to traffic but carefully monitored. NO IPODS!

3 Mile run along Ocean Avenue and back along the boardwalk. Very spectator friendly course. NO IPODS!

Picturesque start on the beach and finish on the boardwalk in front of the Ocean Place Hotel.
