Up until day before race – space permitting but race
usually sells out. In 2011 we sold out May 10th

How do I register as a team? |

Is the event still open – when does it close? |
| |
The event will close out at 1,500 participants. There will be no race day registration.

We registered as a relay team but there was not an option to choose shirt sizes for everyone. |

You will all receive shirts – this is not a problem. |

How does the swim start? |
| |
You will start in waves according to your age group. Waves will be 3 minutes apart. You will have plenty of time to enter the water as aggressively or as leisurely as you want. There will be swim angels and lifeguards all along course.

Are wetsuits required for the swim? |
| |
No they are not. Maybe about half of the ladies wear
them. The water is usually warm enough to not need them for warth. |

I am really not a strong
swimmer, what are the distances for the Duathlon? |

The Duathlon starts with a two mile run on the
boardwalk. Heat start time will be determined prior to race week. |
